On Jan. 4, 2019, State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested 46-year-old Lori J. Daily and 45-year-old David H. Yager of 10020 Johnnie Cake Road, Camden, on charges of third-degree criminal possession of stolen property (a class D felony) and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property (a class E felony).

The arrests follow an investigation into construction tools being stolen at several logging sites in the town of Vienna. Approximately $7,500 worth of stolen property from these sites were found at Rubicon Recycling on Tannery Road, Rome.

Daily and Yager are accused of claiming to be the owners of the stolen property and receiving monetary compensation.

Daily was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $2,500 bail. Yager was remanded to the Oneida County Jail without bail due to previous felony convictions.

They are scheduled to return to Rome City Court at a later date.
