On Jan. 13, 2019, at approximately 12:49 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on Miller Street in the city of Plattsburgh for a report of a stolen vehicle and the suspect, which were both located by Plattsburgh City Police.

An investigation revealed that a juvenile who had run away from a detention facility in Watertown had stolen a car from that area and drove it to Plattsburgh.

The juvenile was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in Beekmantown Town Court, where he was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear before the Clinton County Family Court at a later date.

The investigation continues.
