The Community Foundation awarded $695,292 in grants to 17 local nonprofit organizations. Among them was Friends of Rogers, which received $13,500 to purchase a 15-passenger van to help Madison County residents better access its programming.
The Central New York Community Foundation was established in 1927 to serve as a permanent community endowment built by the gifts and charitable legacies of individuals, families and businesses for the betterment of the region.
