The Cazenovia Public Library will continue its “Warming up to Winter” program series with a free screening of If Winter Comes (1947) Monday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. Based on the novel by A.S.M. Hutchinson, the film stars Walter Pidgeon, Deborah Kerr and Angela Lansbury.

Set in the small English town of Penny Green, the film tells the story of Mark, a well-meaning textbook writer who takes in a pregnant girl. As the townsfolk theorize that Mark is the baby’s father, the young girl takes her own life. When rumors lead the authorities to believe Mark killed her, the innocent man must clear his name. The film is unrated and runs 97 minutes. Free popcorn provided.
