Cicero Man arrested for falsely claiming to be a representative of the C.I.A.

State police arrested Ryan R. Houghtalen, 25, of Cicero, for second-degree criminal impersonation of a public servant, a class A misdemeanor.

Houghtalen is charged with claiming to be associated with the C.I.A. in order to defraud a female victim. He was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for Central Arraignment.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the female victim.

Brewerton man charged with aggravated DWI

State police arrested Michael W. Bateson, 47, of Brewerton, for aggravated DWI, an unclassified misdemeanor.

On Feb. 9, 2019, state police responded to a disabled vehicle off the roadway and into the median on I-81in Hastings. Bateson was subsequently arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated, having a BAC of .18 percent.

Bateson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Hastings Town Court at 4 p.m. Feb. 27, 2019.
