State Police arrested Anildar V. Roblero-Gomez, age 25 from Ellisburg, for two counts of possession of obscene sexual performance by a child (a class E felony) and a single count of promoting sexual performance of a child (a class D felony).

Roblero-Gomez is charged with sending and receiving images and videos consistent with child pornography via Facebook. He was the target of multiple cybertips and responsible for sending videos consistent with the sexual exploitation of children to more than 100 other Facebook users.

Gomez was arraigned in the town of Ellisburg Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond.

The investigation continues; additional charges are pending.

This investigation was conducted by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which includes members of the state police, Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Marshals Service.
