Grevelding, 34, of Erieville, and\ncharged her with third-degree welfare fraud and third-degree grand larceny,\nboth class D felonies; and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing,\na class E felony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is alleged that on Jan. 27, 2017, Grevelding filed a\ndocument for public assistance with the Madison County Department of Social\nServices that contained false information. Grevelding indicated on the document\nthat she did not have any income and also indicated that the father of her\nchild was not residing with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sheriff\u2019s Office investigated the information on the\ndocument and found that both of the statements were false. As a result of this\nfraudulent act, Grevelding received $8,792 in public assistance between Feb. 1,\n2017, and Jan. 31, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grevelding was arraigned in Lenox Town Court, where she was\nreleased on her own recognizance.
