The search tool\nwill allow residents to look up specific items for proper disposal and\nrecycling instructions, as well as look up facility hours and upcoming\ncollection events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opportunities April 27 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tours of the recycling operations at 10 a.m., 11\na.m. and noon<\/li><li>Picking up new recycling bins<\/li><li>Bringing home a new recycling guide and magnet<\/li><li>Learning about the new program changes and resources<\/li><li>Taking home a free tree seedling (limited to the\nfirst 100 visitors)<\/li><li>A coloring contest (for kids up to 12 years old)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the Department of Solid Waste will be\npartnering with the Sheriff\u2019s Department to host a safe pill collection during\nthe Buyea Road Earth Day event. Residents dropping off prescription drugs are\nasked to keep the medications in their original containers.
