Library Closures: We will be closed every Saturday from May\n25 until Sept. 1 for our summer hours. We will be closed to observe Memorial\nDay on Monday May 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decorate our SRP Banner: Starting Wednesday May 1- Friday\nMay 24 help us decorate a letter for our Summer Reading banner. Stop in during\nlibrary hours during this time and get a letter to take home and decorate. First\ncome, first serve. Open to kids ages 2-17. Letters due back to the library by June\n14, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historic Talk: Railroading in the Stockbridge Valley: On Friday\nMay 3 at 6:30pm, join John Taibi as he shares with us about the O&W\nrailroad between Oneida and Whites Corners past his station at Munnsville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Play Mahjong: Like to play Mahjong? Want to learn how to\nplay without using the computer? Willing to teach young and old. Join the fun\nevery Monday afternoon at the library from 1pm-3pm. Dates for May are: Monday\nMay 6, 13, and 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones in on Tuesday May 7 at\n10am for our preschool story hour. Bring your preschool child in to read about\n\u201cFlowers and Mom\u201d. Stories, rhymes, finger plays, a craft and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homeschooling 101: Are you interested in homeschooling? Just\nwant to know what it is about? Want to meet other homeschoolers in the area? Anybody\nwho homeschools, is interested or wants to just come and see what it is all\nabout we will see you on Wednesday May 8 at 6:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones in on Tuesday May 14\nat 10am for our preschool story hour. Come hear stories about \u201cIn the City\u201d. Stories,\nfinger plays, a craft and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Talk: Looking for a good book to read? How about\njoining our book talk on Wednesday May 15 at 6:30pm as we will be reading, The\nWife Between Us by Greer Hendricks. Copies can be picked up now. So grab a\nbook, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NERF Battle Night: Bring your own Nerf equipment (darts\ntoo\u2013please label them) and join us for open play around the library on Friday\nMay 17 from 8:30pm-11pm. See if the library stacks provide you enough shelter\nfrom being hit by a friend\u2019s foam dart. Open to ages 10 and up; so adults are\nwelcome too. Everyone must bring a snack and a drink. ONLY 14 spaces are\navailable. ALL participants MUST sign up in the library and get a permission\nslip to return completed the night of. We will not allow people to complete\npermission slips at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will\nhave ice cream sundaes to celebrate another great year of stories. ***PLEASE\nNOTE: We ARE having a summer reading themed story hour this summer Tuesdays at\n10am from July 2 through Aug. 6.***<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Library Board of Trustees meeting: The Library Board of\nTrustees will meet on Thursday May 23 at 6:30pm in the library\u2019s program room.\nThe public is welcome and encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family Movie Night: Come to the library on Friday May 31 at\n7pm as we will be showing The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. As always, we\nprovide the popcorn; you bring your beverage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
