The suspect\nphysically threw the neighbor into the door of the residence causing him to\nsuffer a compound fracture then fled the scene into a swampy wooded area behind\nthe residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Troopers and state Department of Environmental Conservation\nofficers responded to the scene and established a perimeter. Following an\nextensive four-and-a-half-hour search utilizing state police K9 and a drone,\nthe suspect was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The suspect, Dayvon A. Hall, 24, of Little Falls, was\narrested for first-degree attempted burglary (B felony), second-degree assault (D\nfelony), possession of burglar tools (A misdemeanor) and unlawful possession of\nmarijuana (violation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hall was arraigned in Little Falls Town Court and remanded\nto the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State police was assisted at the scene by several members\nfrom the state DEC police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 19, 2019, at 3:26 p.m., State Police in Herkimer responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence on Shells Bush Road in Little Falls.
