Kisiel comes to the AHA from Utica College, where she served most\nrecently as the executive director of Parent and Athletic Engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her role as executive director at the AHA,\nKisiel will be working with the local American Heart Association Board of\nDirectors, dedicated volunteers and sponsors to further the AHA\u2019s mission as a\nrelentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to working with my\nstaff and volunteers to bring the American Heart Association\u2019s mission to the\ncommunity,\u201d Kisiel said. \u201cMy goals include educating the local community on\nheart health, helping to improve access to healthy foods and continuing the\nconversation about the effects of smoking and e-cigarettes on youth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kisiel lives in New Hartford with her family\nand enjoys participating in local triathlons and races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pamela Mustee is joining the AHA as a development\ndirector. Mustee will work with local companies, volunteers and individual\ndonors on programs and events including America\u2019s Greatest Heart Run &amp;\nWalk. She is an accomplished public relations and development professional with\n15 years of experience in the non-profit sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am excited for a position where I can\nhave a positive impact on the health of our community,\u201d Mustee said. \u201cThe work\nof the American Heart Association helps transform our community and support\nlife-saving research, training and advocacy right here in Utica.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mustee also lives in New Hartford with her\nfamily. She currently sits on the board of directors for the Greater Utica\nChamber of Commerce and holds an executive seat as membership council chairperson.\nShe is a member of the Rotary Club of Utica, assists on the marketing and alumni\ncommittee for Leadership Mohawk Valley and serves as a class representative for\nthe group.<a> <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Hartford residents join American Heart Association team The American Heart Association is pleased to announce two new members on its Mohawk Valley team.
