This week, officials from Community Memorial launch women\u2019s\nhealth services at the Hamilton hospital and Family Health Centers. This is a\nnew, coordinated effort to address a woman\u2019s health at any age. The launch\ncoincides with the nationwide initiative, Women’s Health Week May 12 through 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Women\u2019s Health Week serves as a reminder for women\nto make their health a priority and build positive health habits for life. Community\nMemorial has dedicated services that make the healthy choice the easy one when\nit comes to a woman\u2019s health at any age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll women need a general health checkup each year,\u201d said\nJocelyn M. Morin, MD, primary care physician at the Cazenovia Family Health\nCenter. \u201cThe checkup frequently referred to as the \u2018well-woman visit\u2019 can help\nfind problems early or prevent health problems before they occur. If problems\nare found early, they may be easier to treat and less likely to pose serious\nrisks to your health. The effort connects women\u2019s care across service lines,\nincluding reproductive health, breast exams, mammography, bone density\nscreenings, menopause health, cardiovascular, heart burn and digestive health.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCommunity Memorial is here for women at every step on their\nhealth journey,\u201d said President and CEO Sean Fadale. \u201cWe understand the unique\nneeds of women in our community and offer a variety of specialized and seamless\nservices to assist them in living an active and healthy life.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
