On Friday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m., join us for our last\nhistoric talk until fall. The topic: Things You Might Not Know about\nMorrisville. Sue Greenhagen, town and village historian, will be presenting a\ntalk on things you might not know about Morrisville. Come learn some\ninteresting tidbits about our village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be sure to join us for Book Creations at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday,\nJune 12. Come make a \u201cbook creation\u201d out of recycled books as Robin\nBranch-Staelens shows us how. Open to all ages, but anyone under 10 should come\nwith a parent\/guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us for our last NERF Battle Night until fall. Bring your\nown Nerf equipment (darts, too\u2013lease label them) and join us for open play\naround the library from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 14. See if the library\nstacks provide you enough shelter from being hit by a friend\u2019s foam dart. Open\nto ages 10 and up, so adults are welcome, too. Everyone must bring a snack and\na drink. Only 14 spaces are available. All participants must sign up in the\nlibrary and get a permission slip to return completed the night of. We will not\nallow people to complete permission slips at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking for a good book to read? How about joining our book\ntalk at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, as we will be reading The Water Cure by\nSophie Mackintosh. Copies can be picked up now, so grab a book, read it and\ncome join us for a sure-to-be-fun discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come join us at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, for our Wine and\nPaint Night. Open to adults and kids 13 and older. If you don\u2019t drink wine, we\nwill have grape juice and of course, goodies for everyone too. Cost is $35 per\nperson (payable the night of the program). Reservations are required. We must\nhave 10 people to hold the class. We can have no more than 28, so space is\nlimited. Sign up June 1 at the circulation desk. (The painting of what we will\ncreate will be posted at the desk when signing up.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We still have some letters left… Help us decorate a letter\nfor our Summer Reading banner. Stop in during library hours now and get a letter\nto take home and decorate. First-come, first-served. Open to kids ages 2 to 17.\nLetters due back to the library by June 14, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget Mahjong has begun, so if you want to learn how\nto play or love the game, stop in every Monday from 1 to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started our summer hours Saturday May 25. That means we\nwill be closed Saturdays through Labor Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and\nFriday from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
