Three arrested for possession of fentanyl following a search warrant at Utica residence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 12, 2019, the state police and Utica Police Department executed a no-knock search warrant at 1901 Baker Ave., Utica.\u00a0A search of the residence located\u00a029.9 grams\u00a0of fentanyl, marijuana and a small amount of U.S. Currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following individuals were arrested and transported to Utica City Court for arraignment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vennie B. Coleman, 35, of 1901 Baker Ave., Utica, was charged\nwith:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree\n(sub 1)<\/li>
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree\n (sub 12)<\/li>
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th  degree<\/li>
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 1)<\/li>
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 2)<\/li>
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 3)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Jasmine R. Richard, 33, of 1901 Baker Ave., Utica, was charged\nwith:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n3rd degree (sub 1)<\/li>
    • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n3rd degree  (sub 12)<\/li>
    • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n7th  degree<\/li>
    • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 1)<\/li>
    • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 2)<\/li>
    • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 3)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Alyssa D. Young, 32, of 1901 Baker Ave., Utica, was charged\nwith:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n3rd degree (sub 1)<\/li>
      • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n3rd degree  (sub 12)<\/li>
      • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance\n7th  degree<\/li>
      • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 1)<\/li>
      • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 2)<\/li>
      • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (sub 3)<\/li>
      • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The investigation continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Driver in critical\ncondition following early morning crash in Spafford<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        State police in Elbridge are investigating a crash that\noccurred on East Lake Road in Spafford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Investigation revealed a dump truck operated by Howard\nBeltran, 57, of New York City, was northbound on East Lake Road (State Route\n41) when he lost control, exited the east side of the roadway and struck a\ntree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Beltran was extricated by Spafford Fire Department and\nair-lifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he was listed in critical\ncondition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
