Library announces its\nSummer Story Time schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escape the summer heat and head to the Cazenovia Public\nLibrary for some Story Time fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offered three days a week throughout the summer season\n(beginning July 9), \u201cStory Time in the Story Garden\u201d allows children to\ninteract and enjoy books, songs, movement activities, rhymes and playtime in an\nengaging and inviting environment. Each session is thoughtfully designed to\ninstill a lifelong love of reading and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children ages two and younger and their parents\/caregivers\nare invited to join Betsy Kennedy at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesdays for \u201cBaby Story\nTime.\u201d Each 45 minute session will feature books, songs, rhymes and movement\nactivities geared toward our youngest readers, followed by open playtime.\nSiblings are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToddler Story Time,\u201d for children ages 2-3, will be offered\nat 10:15 a.m. on Wednesdays. Ms. Jenna will share books, songs, rhymes,\nmovement and interactive activities and conclude each session with open\nplaytime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExplore and Learn\u201d sessions are specifically designed to\npromote learning, creativity, and socialization through hands-on activities and\nobservation. Children ages 4-5 are encouraged to join Ms. Jenna on Thursdays at\n10:15 am for engaging activities, exploration, stories, songs, and art\nprojects. Parents are encouraged to exit the Story Garden for a portion of each\nprogram. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Library to sponsor\nannual Teddy Bear Parade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kick off the Fourth of July weekend with a unique village\ntradition designed specifically for kids. The Cazenovia Public Library and\nCazenovia Children\u2019s House, Inc. will co-sponsor the beloved annual Teddy Bear\nParade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children of all ages, their teddy bears and their families\nwill gather at Memorial Park (behind the Farmer\u2019s Market) for a simple craft\nand music before marching as a group down the Albany Street sidewalk to the\nLibrary lawn for games and light refreshments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of rain, the festivities will be relocated to\nthe Library Community Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families are invited to adorn their wagons, strollers,\ntricycles, and teddy bears with festive Independence Day decorations. Feel free\nto bring a percussion instrument of your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
