Holland, 24, of Clay, for second-degree burglary (a C felony), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (an A misdemeanor) and fourth-degree criminal mischief (an A misdemeanor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June 20, 2019, at approximately 6:40 p.m., state police responded to 1 Candlelight Lane in Clay for a reported burglary that just occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigation revealed the suspect forcibly entered the apartment, which was occupied, looking for another male with whom he had a dispute with over money. Holland then grabbed a five-months-pregnant female occupant of the residence and started choking her to the point of unconsciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He fled the scene prior to patrol&#8217;s arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 9:44 p.m., Holland was taken into custody without incident at a friend\u2019s house in the town of Salina.\u00a0He was processed at SP North Syracuse and transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for centralized arraignment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State police arrested\u00a0Darnell E.
