Colgate travels to UMass Lowell for a\ntwo-game series (Oct. 18-19) before hosting NCHC powerhouse Miami (OH) for a pair\nOct. 25-26. Standing out with a single matchup on Nov. 1, the Raiders then\ncontinue nonconference play as they face 2019 Frozen Four participant\nProvidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the Raiders open ECAC\nHockey action Nov. 8-9, they hold Silver Puck Weekend against conference foes\nYale and Brown. Four ECAC games follow, including the first of three regular\nseason matchups against Princeton (Nov. 22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just a week after their\nmeeting in Hamilton, the Raiders and Tigers meet again Nov. 29 for the 2019\nFriendship Four tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The international\ncompetition marks Colgate\u2019s first return to the Emerald Isle since 2015, while\nafter Friday\u2019s nonconference meeting with Princeton, the Raiders take on\nNortheastern or New Hampshire on Saturday, Nov. 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are excited to host\nMiami and Boston College at the Class of 1965 Arena, and of course we are very\nmuch looking forward to playing once again in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the\nFriendship Four,\u201d Coach Vaughan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Returning stateside for\ncontinued conference play, first-half action is concluded at Dartmouth and\nHarvard (Dec. 6-7). Colgate takes on another NCAA Tournament opponent as it\ntravels to Columbus to face Ohio State in a two-game series Dec. 27-28 for its\nfinal scheduled nonconference competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Second-half action begins\nat Union and Rensselaer (Jan. 10-11) before the Raiders return to Class of 1965\nArena after a two-month road stretch to host Harvard and Dartmouth on Jan.\n24-25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colgate\u2019s much anticipated\nRoute 13 Rivalry is renewed Feb. 7 in Ithaca, before the Raiders and Cornell\ntake to Hamilton on Feb. 8. Four more ECAC matchups follow before the final\nweekend of the regular season Feb. 28-29, when the Raiders host Clarkson and\nthen St. Lawrence for Senior Night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Postseason play begins with\nthe best-of-three First Round of the 2020 ECAC Hockey Tournament from March\n6-8, followed by the Quarterfinals March 13-15. After the first two rounds on\ncampus sites, teams travel to Lake Placid, New York, for the single-game\nTournament Semifinal and Championship on March 20-21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Team Outlook<\/em><\/strong><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are already looking\nforward to the 2019-20 season as we return a number of players with a lot of\nexperience,\u201d said Vaughan. \u201cOur junior and senior classes have played a lot of\ncollege hockey games and many have played in every situation, while rising\nsophomore Mitch Benson \u201822 led all freshman goalies nationally with 33 starts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A seven-player freshman\nclass is slated to join the program for the upcoming 2019-20 season.&nbsp;The five forwards and two\ndefensemen join 21 returners to the program from the 2018-19 campaign when the\nRaiders recorded significant victories over then-No. 3 Quinnipiac and in-state\nrival Cornell. Colgate graduated five players to the Class of 2019 and has\neight seniors leading the program for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cAs a whole, the incoming Class of 2023 is a\nvery talented group. They will have an immediate impact on our on-ice\nperformance and will help improve our offensive production,\u201d Vaughan added.\n\u201cAll possess leadership experience from their previous teams and three of the\nseven won league championships last season with one taking home a national\nchampionship. This kind of experience is priceless.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Season Ticket Information<\/em><\/strong><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fans can lock in season\ntickets by placing a $50 deposit per ticket, which is valid for both current\nseason ticket holders looking to renew as well as fans interested in becoming a\nnew season ticket holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New season ticket holders\nwho put down a deposit will be able to choose from available chair back\nreserved seating once the renewal period is over, while all deposits are\nnon-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fans can place their ticket\ndeposits by clicking&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gocolgateraiders.com\/sports\/2017\/6\/20\/tickets.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a>, calling the box office at\n315-228-4062, or by visiting the box office from 9 a.m. &#8211; 4 p.m. Monday through\nFriday.
