(CU Photo by Steve Jacobs)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Turcotte of Clayton, Sara Martin of Cazenovia,\nKatherine Reardon of New York City, Lauren Thomas of Berlin, Conn. and Matt\nKeil of Penfield, have all received the Woodstock Award from their alma mater,\nClarkson University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given each year during Reunion Weekend, the Woodstock Award\nhonors young alumni who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to\nClarkson and the Alumni Association and who have used their Clarkson experience\nto make a notable contribution to their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matt Turcotte<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matthew Turcotte received his bachelor of science in\nInnovation and Entrepreneurship in 2014. He was the first student to\nparticipate in Clarkson&#8217;s Young Entrepreneur Award program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the current owner and founder of Grindstone Holdings,\nLLC and North Shore Solutions. Since graduating, Matt has remained engaged with\nthe Reh Center for Entrepreneurship and has attended several regional chapter\nalumni events. He is also active in his community and church and serves as a\nBoard of Trustee member at Samaritan Medical Center Foundation of NNY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt resides in Clayton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sara Martin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sara Martin received her bachelor of science in Civil\nEngineering in 1999 from the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering. She is a\nlicensed professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in project\ndevelopment and management and troubleshooting of wastewater treatment systems\nfor food and beverage companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a 17 year career at O&#8217;Brien and Gere, she started her\nown business as the Principal of Critical Path Engineering. Sara was named a\n&#8220;wonder woman of water&#8221; in 2018 by Hunter Crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She lives in Cazenovia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Katherine Reardon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katherine Reardon earned a bachelor of science in\nInterdisciplinary Engineering and Management in 2009. After graduation, Kate\nworked for GE Energy before attending law school at Syracuse University College\nof Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hired by a Clarkson alumnus, now trustee Peter Devlin,\nKatherine works as Associate in the litigation group at Fish &amp; Richardson,\nP.C. Her practice focuses on patent, copyright and trademark litigation for\nleading tech companies in district courts across the country. Katherine has\nremained engaged with Clarkson through the Reh School of Business Rising\nLeaders&#8217; Council and by serving on the Alumni Association Leadership Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katherine is from Little Falls and resides in Manhattan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lauren Thomas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren Thomas received her bachelor of science in Chemical\nEngineering in 2004 from the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering. She went\non to earn her a master&#8217;s degree from both Central Connecticut State University\nand Boston University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is currently the Director of Quality with Thule Group\nwhere she leads the development, implementation, and direction of effective\nquality strategies, policies, and objectives for products manufactured and\nsourced in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren has remained engaged with Clarkson by serving as an\nalumni admission volunteer and as Past Chapter President of the Connecticut\nalumni chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren currently resides in Berlin, Conn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matt Keil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Keil received his bachelors of science in professional\nstudies in Engineering and Project Management in 2009. He currently works for\nBison Elevator as a project manager out of their Rochester office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt has remained engaged with Clarkson by serving on the\nAlumni Leadership Board as the Rochester Chapter Vice President for a number of\nyears. In that time Matt has hosted several regional alumni events including\nlocal outings to baseball and hockey games, as well as the always popular laps\nouting at the Watkins Glen Race Track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing to bleed green and gold through the Pep Band\nAlumni Association, he has yet to miss a Cold Out Gold Out weekend.
