Morrisville State women\u2019s soccer head coach, Amanda Gagliano, has recently announced her resignation from the helm of the program, effective today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMorrisville has been a blessing in that I was provided a platform to express my creativity, make mistakes and be supported every step of the way,\u201d Gagliano stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am lucky that all of the student-athletes that have come through the program in my time on the Mustang sidelines have made an impression on my life that has allowed me to see the importance in a holistic approach in coaching,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wish the women\u2019s soccer team nothing but success and happiness, as they continue to be open-minded in their future endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gagliano guided the Mustangs to a 20-29-3 overall record throughout her three years overseeing the program, including an 18-14-2 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her time, six of her players were selected to the All-Conference teams, while a number excelled in the classroom as well, earning NEAC Scholar-Athlete accolades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are grateful for what Amanda has brought to the soccer pitch in her time as a part of our Mustang staff,\u201d said Morrisville State Director of Athletics, Greg Carroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn a short period of time, she took the program to a new level, making appearances in the NEAC tournament for the past two seasons, while creating a relationship with the local community that put a spotlight on what it truly means to be a Mustang.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer dedication to the program will be missed, and we wish her the best of luck as she pursues a new career in Hawaii.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A search for Gagliano\u2019s replacement is underway, and is anticipated to be filled before the start of pre-season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
