In\nlieu of an admission fee, participants are asked to bring one non-perishable\npet food or supply item that will be donated to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society\nof Oneida County. At its peak, the zombie walk had over 1,000 participants. It raised\nmonetary and non-perishable food donations for several local non-profits such\nas the Stevens-Swan Humane Society and the Food Bank of CNY. The Utica Zombie\nWalk\u2019s mission is to provide a safe and fun setting for artistic expression,\nand to be inclusive of all ages and walks of life.
