The kick-off event will be \u201cAn Evening of British Cuisine\u201d\nat 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019. Authentic British cooking will be provided\nby Linda Irwin. A slideshow with more than 240 images of British pop culture icons\nand British architecture will run during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, there will be a screening of the\n1967 British classic, \u201cTo Sir, With Love,\u201d starring Sidney Poitier and British pop\nstar Lulu. The film is rated PG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The closing event will be \u201cThe Beatles: We Love Them, Yeah\u2026Yeah\u2026Yeah!\u201d\nperformed by The Monk Rowe Trio at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. All the big hits of\nThe Beatles catalog will be included, and there will be drawings for free copies\nof Beatles CDs and books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The concert will also offer Beatles trivia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All three programs are free to the public; for more information,\ncall 315.735.2279. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This October, the Utica Public Library will present a three-program tribute to British Culture.
