To the Editor:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An African proverb “It takes a village to raise a\nchild,” states best of how our community comes together to assist our area\nchildren returning to school. Trying to equip each student with the necessary\ntools to start the new school year can be challenging. But once again, our\ncommunity, “our village,” rose to the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our children are our future, and equipping them with the\nconfidence, positive attitude to learn helps to create leaders of tomorrow. We\nare grateful for the cooperative partnership between different organizations,\nbusinesses, churches and groups in the community. You have given so much more\nthan you realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
