Rougeux of the New York State Police and Chief Deputy Derrick O\u2019Meara of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center announced the arrest of 19-year-old\u00a0Joshua A. Eberle of Morrisville on charges of second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sex act, both class D felonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to police, Eberle is accused of having sexual\nintercourse with a female under the age of 15.&nbsp;This incident occurred in\nAugust at a residence in the town of Westmoreland.&nbsp;He was transported to\nthe Oneida County Correctional Facility pending centralized arraignment. An\norder of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.&nbsp;The victim has\nbeen offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation was conducted by the state police. The\nOneida County Child Advocacy Center is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team\nthat fights child abuse by providing a wide range of services for child\nvictims, while aggressively pursuing the offenders of these crimes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Major Philip T.
