A co-ed team of junior golfers from the Syracuse area will\nbe competing in a PGA Jr. League Regional presented by National Car Rental at\nSeaview Golf Club in Galloway Sept. 14 and 15, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syracuse East All-Star roster is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Captain Sean Dadey, PGA \u2013 Drumlins Golf Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitchell Archer, 13, Syracuse \u2013 The First Tee of Syracuse<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seth Boulter, 12, Chittenango \u2013 Woodcrest Golf Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nathan Brown, 12, Cazenovia \u2013 Cavalry Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Gregory, 13, Syracuse \u2013 Drumlins Golf Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porter Matt, 12, Manlius \u2013 Onondaga Golf and Country Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuna Radford, 13, Syracuse \u2013 Drumlins Golf Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson Saroney, 12, Fayetteville \u2013 Drumlins Golf Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Braedon Smith, 13, East Syracuse \u2013 Cavalry Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the regular season, 10-player all-star teams are\nformed from a combination of players in each league. Teams move through Section\nChampionships in August to earn a spot at one of 12 Regionals held across\nthe country in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve Regional champions advance to the PGA Jr. League\nChampionship presented by National Car Rental, which has been held at Grayhawk\nGolf Club since 2016 and will stay through 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGA Jr. League brings boys and girls together to learn and\nplay golf on co-ed teams, all with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA\nProfessionals. Kids wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends,\ncompeting in a two-person scramble format that builds confidence and encourages\nsportsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the focus of PGA Jr. League is primarily on the\nrecreational nature of its spring, summer and fall seasons, the PGA Jr. League\nPostseason presented by National Car Rental presents competitive golfers a fun\nand aspirational finish to Spring\/Summer Season play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syracuse East All-Stars won the PGA Jr. League Central\nNew York Section Championship presented by National Car Rental Aug. 24 and 25\nat Turning Stone Resort to advance to the Regional. They will compete against\nthree All-Star teams from Bedminster, N.J.; State College, Pa.; and Farmingdale\nfor the opportunity to advance to the PGA Jr. League Championship presented by\nNational Car Rental at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Az., Oct. 11 through 14.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
