Our 17th annual Pumpkin Coloring Contest is almost over. Stop\nin to the library and pick up your pumpkin coloring contest entry. You have\nuntil this Saturday (October 19) at 4 pm to turn in your creations for judging.\nOpen to toddler to 6th graders. Winners will be announced at our Halloween\nparty at the end of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us this Friday October 18 for our Family Movie Night at\n7 pm. We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage. Want to\nknow what we are showing? This Saturday October 19 we will be having our Nerf Family\nEdition from 4:30 pm-7 pm. Bring your own Nerf equi pment (darts too\u2013please\nlabel them) and join us for open play around the library. Open to families with\nchildren 5 years of age and older. Families must have at least 2 people and no\nmore than 5. We are allowing no more than 8 families to sign up and ALL family\nmembers MUST play. Sign up now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, on\nTuesday October 22 at 10 am. Help us have fun with \u201cFriendship.\u201d Stories,\nfinger plays a craft and more. Can\u2019t make it that day? Join us the following\nweek (October 29) for \u201cHalloween.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday October 23 join us to learn about \u201cProtecting\nYour Identity\u201d at 6:30 pm. What is identity theft? How can you protect yourself?\nDo you know the signs of identity theft? Join us as Heidi Ouderkirk from\nKeyBank answers these questions and more. Refreshments provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday October 26 is our annual Halloween Party at 1 pm. Wear\nyour costumes and join us for a spooky celebration. We will not only announce\nthe winners of the pumpkin coloring contest, but play fun and games and make\ncool crafts too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us Friday November 1 for our Family Movie Night at 7 pm.\nWe provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage. Want to know\nwhat we are showing? The Library Board of Trustees are collecting items for the\nAnnual Silent Auction now until Saturday November 2. Donations can be such\nthings as handcrafted items, artwork, gift certificates, donations from\nbusinesses, etc., with a minimum value of $5. They will not be accepting USED items.\nNew or handmade is acceptable. The bidding begins on November 4. Please help us\nby donating and\/or bidding on items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
