I know they will both do an\nexcellent job. &nbsp;I have known each of them\nfor many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret Milman-Barris has first-hand experience in local\ngovernment, having previously served as a supervisor (appointed to fill a\nvacancy). She has served on the Oneida City Water Board and served as a member\nof the Climate Action Committee. She is involved with social health agencies\nserving on the Celebration Children\u2019s Center Board of Directors.&nbsp; I have observed Margaret to be a\nknowledgeable, thoughtful individual who seeks all the facts, listens to all\nopinions, asks the necessary questions and weighs all the information before\nmaking a decision. As a geologist with a career in environmental consulting,\nMargaret has the expertise needed in policies, plans and programs dealing with\nthis important issue all governments must address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Nichols is an experienced and accomplished leader,\nhaving served as president of his teachers\u2019 union.&nbsp; He is active in community programs such as\nAmerican Legion Boys State Program and Odyssey of the Mind. &nbsp;He has coached soccer and volleyball and has\nbeen involved in other school-based programs. I have witnessed his strong\nadvocacy for people with disabilities and for seniors. He has the time,\nknowledge and skills needed to be an effective leader and representative for\nthe people of Oneida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret and John share common goals.&nbsp; They are committed to making government more\ntransparent and more open in communication with the people.
