Nominations now being accepted for Heart Run &\nWalk honor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you work on your New Year\u2019s resolution, do you know\nsomeone that has already made a big change? The\nAmerican Heart Association is working to celebrate individuals who have made a\npositive impact on their health with the Lifestyle Change Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lifestyle Change Award, sponsored by Olivari Olive Oil,\nhonors someone who has made significant, positive changes in an effort to live\na longer and healthier life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations can be submitted by friends, co-workers or\nrelatives. Individuals can also choose to nominate themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for nominations is Jan. 31, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photos and stories from finalists will be posted on\nthe American\nHeart Association Facebook page<\/a> at @HeartCNY. The winner will be\nchosen by a combination of a panel of judges and public votes on Facebook. The\nwinner will then be recognized at the America\u2019s Greatest Heart Run and Walk\nclosing ceremony March 7, 2020 in the Utica College gymnasium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nomination forms can be submitted online<\/a>, or a hard copy can be requested by\nemailing heartofutica@heart.org<\/a> or\ncalling 315.580.3960.
