Hoak, 48, of Cazenovia,\nfor third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony; and first-degree falsifying business\nrecords, a class E felony. Hoak, former treasurer of the Cazenovia Pop Warner\nFootball League, was charged with stealing nearly $50,000 from the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State police were contacted in June 2019 after discrepancies\nwere discovered regarding the league&#8217;s bank accounts.&nbsp; It is alleged that, from April 2017 until\nFebruary 2019, the bank account was utilized to sustain Hoak&#8217;s lifestyle, which\nincluded making car payments, insurance payments, gasoline, groceries, cell\nphone bills and other expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoak is also accused of falsifying financial records and\nsubmitting them to the Cazenovia Pop Warner board members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoak was arraigned in Cazenovia Village Court and released\non his own recognizance.
