Throughout its more than 150-year history, Community Bank N.A<\/a> has\nremained committed to giving back to the communities it serves. In 2019, the\nbank\u2019s annual charitable giving reached more than $2.6 million in sponsorships,\ndonations and grants, with its branches across New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont\nand Massachusetts donating to more than 2,500 local organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGoing the extra mile for our neighbors is a fundamental\npart of our values,\u201d Community Bank Regional Manager Paul Lepore said. \u201cAs our\nname suggests, one of the important missions of our bank is to support the wellbeing\nof the communities we serve and where we work and live. We\u2019re more than just\nyour local teller or banker \u2014 we\u2019re your neighbors, friends, maybe even family.\nWe want to help give our region a better tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each individual branch follows the passions of its employees\nand customers to support causes that are important to its community. In\naddition to awarding corporate donations, branches often host fundraisers and\ncollection drives as a way for employees, customers and community members to\nparticipate in the charitable giving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Central New York, Community Bank supported a variety of\norganizations, including Oneida Healthcare Foundation, The ARC of Madison\nCortland, Family Services Association, Catholic Charities, Springbrook Upstate\nHome for Children and Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of its charitable giving, Community Bank employees\nalso volunteer their time to local nonprofits and charities in need. In 2019,\nteam members committed more than 10,000 hours to giving back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
