{"id":112033,"date":"2020-06-22T23:11:26","date_gmt":"2020-06-23T03:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=112033"},"modified":"2020-06-22T23:11:26","modified_gmt":"2020-06-23T03:11:26","slug":"potential-public-exposure-to-covid-19-at-red-apple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=112033","title":{"rendered":"Potential public exposure to COVID-19 at Red Apple"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Madison County Health Department has confirmed that an individual who visited the Red Apple Kwik Fill, 129 Main St., Oneida, tested positive for COVID-19.\u00a0Members of the public who visited the store between 6 and 7:30 p.m. June 21, 2020, should self-monitor for symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAfter conducting an investigation to identify all close contacts, it was determined this individual visited the Red Apple on June 21, and was not wearing a face covering,\u201d said Madison County Public Health Director Eric Faisst. \u201cAnyone who visited the store during the identified time frame should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 until July 5, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThose symptoms include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell or difficulty breathing.\u00a0If symptoms develop, stay home and contact your doctor for guidance on testing. In an emergency please call 911.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Madison County is now in Phase 3 of reopening, it is important that residents remain diligent and continue to do their part to limit the spread of COVID-19.&nbsp; Protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering when you are out in public, especially when they are unable to maintain social distancing. Also practice good hygiene.
