{"id":112128,"date":"2020-06-26T10:31:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-26T14:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=112128"},"modified":"2020-06-26T00:10:40","modified_gmt":"2020-06-26T04:10:40","slug":"madison-county-rural-poverty-fund-supports-covid-19-response","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=112128","title":{"rendered":"Madison County Rural Poverty Fund supports COVID-19 response"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Madison County Rural Poverty Fund, a regional fund of the Central New York Community Foundation, announced today that it is supporting\u00a0nonprofit organizations in the region that are working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19) and the economic consequences of this outbreak.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fund will rapidly deploy flexible resources in the form of one-time operating grants on a rolling basis to nonprofits whose operations support vulnerable populations stressed by the outbreak. The Madison County Rural Poverty Fund is seeding the effort with its own contribution and encourages individuals, institutions and companies to donate, as well. Grants will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gifts can be made online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cnycf.org\/madisoncovid19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cnycf.org\/madisoncovid19<\/a>&nbsp;or by check made payable to \u201cCNY Community Foundation\u201d with a note \u201cfor Madison COVID-19 support.\u201d Checks should be mailed to: CNY Community Foundation, 431 E.
