{"id":120703,"date":"2022-09-09T12:25:33","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T16:25:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=120703"},"modified":"2022-09-09T12:29:46","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T16:29:46","slug":"madison-county-health-department-news-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=120703","title":{"rendered":"Madison County Health Department news"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back-to-school immunization clinics scheduled<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Madison County Health Department will hold immunization clinics throughout September to make sure students have an opportunity to get the required immunizations needed to attend school:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Children entering kindergarten need boosters of four vaccines: DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis), chickenpox, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) and polio.<\/li><li>Children entering sixth grade need Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis).<\/li><li>Students in seventh- through 12th grades need MenACWY (meningococcal conjugate vaccine).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also recommended that preteens and teens get the HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immunization clinics will be held at 138 N. Court St., Building 5, Wampsville, by appointment only on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Friday, Sept. 16, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.<\/li><li>Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.<\/li><li>Thursday, Sept. 22, from 3 to 5:30 pm<\/li><li>Friday, Sept. 23, from 1 to 3:30 pm<\/li><li>Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information or to make an appointment, call 315.366.2848; have insurance information ready.
