Morrisville Public Library News<\/p>\n

(Morrisville, NY \u2013 Jan. 2013) We will be s\"Michelle<\/a>howing the movie, Ice Age: Continental Drift this Friday Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. Bring the family in for popcorn and this enlightening tale.<\/p>\n

Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with Morrisville State College Professor William S. Snyder on Monday Jan. 14 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 He will be doing this class for free every Monday so teens and adults; this is your chance to learn this and have fun.\u00a0 If you cannot make that day, he will be here again on Monday Jan. 28.<\/p>\n

Kiddies Korner will meet again on Tuesday Jan. 15 at 9:30am to hear stories about snowballs and snowmen.\u00a0 If you can\u2019t make that day, join us Jan. 22 to hear all about dinosaurs.<\/p>\n

We are starting a monthly at night book talk on Wednesday Jan. 16 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 The book being discussed is Barbara Kingsolver\u2019s novel, The Poisonwood Bible.\u00a0 Copies can be picked up now.<\/p>\n

Join Sue Greenhagen on Friday Jan. 18 at 6:30pm for her Magical History tour.\u00a0 She will share with us how Morrisville 100 years ago was in many ways the same village it is now, but with some differences that are startling.\u00a0 Come and be surprised.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget our Annual Canned Food Drive for the Morrisville Food Pantry going on now. Please help us make it better than last year.\u00a0 Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines.<\/p>\n

The Library Board meets on Thursday Jan. 17 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 The public is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

We will be closed on Monday Jan. 21 to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day.\u00a0 We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.<\/p>\n
