As a \u201cthank you\u201d for saving a life, Dunkin\u2019 Donuts has pledged a free pound of coffee to all blood donors.<\/p>\n
Donor appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Call\u00a0(315) 829-8215\u00a0to schedule an appointment.<\/p>\n
Generally, blood donors must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and not have donated within 56 days. Blood donation is a simple four-step process: registration, medical history and mini-physical, donation and refreshments.\u00a0 In New York State, 16-year-olds are eligible to donate blood with an original signed or faxed copy of the \u201cNew York State Informed Parental Consent for a 16-year-old to Donate Whole Blood\u201d document.
