Oneida AARP plans Valentine\u2019s Day meeting<\/p>\n
(Oneida, NY \u2013 Feb. 2013) Oneida Area AARP Chapter 3328 will celebrate Valentine’s Day at its regular meeting on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 13.<\/p>\n
Members will meet\u00a0at noon at St. Paul’s Church, 551 Sayles St., Oneida.\u00a0 The day will begin\u00a0by selecting\u00a0a King and Queen for the day.<\/p>\n
Then a catered spaghetti luncheon will take place. Members will need to bring their own table service.\u00a0\u00a0Coffee and tea will be\u00a0provided.\u00a0 The dessert will be the traditional Valentine\u2019s Day cake, provided by the Chapter.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $8 per person and are available\u00a0by calling Isa Wosjiat at (315) 280-\u00a04685.\u00a0Members are asked to buy their ticket by Feb. 5 as a total count\u00a0is needed by the board meeting on Feb. 6.<\/p>\n
The men are asked to come at 11 a.m. to set up tables.<\/p>\n
The business meeting will begin after the luncheon followed by an auction.\u00a0 Each member is asked to bring a wrapped item to be\u00a0auctioned off to the\u00a0highest bidder.\u00a0 This is always a fun event and the proceeds help to offset the increase in the budget each year.<\/p>\n
