Lucas<\/b>, a senior majoring in physics, from Cazenovia.<\/p>\n<p>Dean&#8217;s list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evans Named to Sacred Heart University&#8217;s Dean&#8217;s List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn., has announced the dean&#8217;s list for the fall semester 2012. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale. <b>Kiley Evans<\/b> of Cazenovia has made the dean&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students Named Clarkson University Presidential Scholars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following students were named presidential scholars for the fall 2012 semester at Clarkson University.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alexandra B. Cameron<\/b>, a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering, from Cazenovia; <b>Logan Carsten<\/b>, a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering, from Eaton; <b>Raeanne J. Clabeaux<\/b>, a sophomore majoring in environmental engineering, from New Woodstock; <b>Justin E. Gann<\/b>, a senior majoring in civil engineering, from Oneida; <b>Ellen M. Heenan<\/b>, a senior majoring in engineering and management, from Bridgeport; <b>Molly E. Ogden<\/b>, a junior majoring in history and interdisciplinary social sciences, from Earlville; <b>Anthony C. Rosa<\/b>, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, from Oneida; <b>Shelby E. Stoker<\/b>, a senior majoring in electrical engineering, from Cazenovia; and <b>Nicole M. Verone<\/b>, a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering, from Kirkville.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students Earn Dean&#8217;s List Honors from Wells College<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following students from Wells College were named to the dean&#8217;s list for the fall 2012 semester:<\/p>\n<p><b>Jesi Unger<\/b>, class of 2013, of Earlville. Jesi graduated from Sherburne-Earlville Central School and is majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology at Wells.<\/p>\n<p><b>Paige Stone<\/b>, class of 2013, of Madison. Paige graduated from Madison Central School. She is majoring in psychology at Wells and plays for the soccer team.<\/p>\n<p><b>Bradley Murray<\/b>, class of 2015, of Chittenango. Bradley graduated from Chittenango Senior High School.<\/p>\n<p>The dean&#8217;s list consists of students who earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for at least 12 hours of coursework in a given semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residents named to Dean&#8217;s List at Saint Michael&#8217;s College<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following local residents were named to the fall 2012 dean&#8217;s list at Saint Michael&#8217;s College, a liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vt., one of the top 10 college towns in America:<\/p>\n<p><b>Jessica Campbell<\/b>, daughter of Theresa Snyder of Canastota and Ty Campbell of Cazenovia, a sophomore media studies and digital arts major, who graduated from Canastota High School before coming to Saint Michael&#8217;s; and <b>Christine Fitzgerald<\/b>, daughter of Diana and James Fitzgerald of Kirkville, a junior music and psychology major, who graduated from Chittenango High School before coming to Saint Michael&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the dean&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marsland Named to Dean&#8217;s List at St. Olaf College<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marci Sortor, Dean and Provost of St. Olaf College, has named <b>Max Marsland <\/b>from Oneida to the St. Olaf College dean&#8217;s list for the fall 2012 semester. Marsland is a history and social studies education major. He is the son of Charles and Ann Marsland.<\/p>\n<p>The dean&#8217;s list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These students have distinguished themselves among a talented and highly qualified student body,\u201d Sortor said. \u201cWe celebrate their success in gaining recognition for academic excellence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>University of New Hampshire Announces Dean&#8217;s List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following students have been named to the dean&#8217;s list at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year: <b>Helena Krebs<\/b> of Cazenovia earned high honors, and <b>Sumire Gysin<\/b> of Sherburne earned highest honors.<\/p>\n<p>Students named to the dean&#8217;s list at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students Named To St. Lawrence University Dean&#8217;s List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following students have been selected for inclusion on the dean&#8217;s list for academic achievement during the fall 2012 semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton. To be eligible for the dean&#8217;s list at St. Lawrence University, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of 3.6 (based on a perfect 4.0 scale) for the semester.<\/p>\n<p><b>Danielle M. Capirci<\/b> of Hamilton; Capirci, a member of the class of 2015, graduated from Hamilton Central School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Hannah C. Chanatry<\/b> of Cazenovia; Chanatry, a member of the class of 2015, graduated from Cazenovia High School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Brett M. Ford<\/b> of Madison; Ford, a member of the class of 2014, graduated from Madison Central School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Elizabeth M. McGinley<\/b> of Canastota; McGinley, a member of the class of 2013, graduated from Canastota High School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Liam B. Ryan<\/b> of Cazenovia; Ryan, a member of the class of 2015, graduated from Cazenovia High School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Shannon C. Smith<\/b> of Cazenovia; Smith, a member of the class of 2013, graduated from Manlius Pebble Hill School.<\/p>\n<p><b>Lindsey P. Wratten<\/b> of Waterville; Wratten, a member of the class of 2014, graduated from Waterville Jr-Sr High School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gianforte Earns Fall Honors at Roger Williams University<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Piper Gianforte<\/b> of Cazenovia has been named to the fall 2012 dean&#8217;s list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Piper is majoring in media communication.
