Simple: leave the critter alone, walk back out of the barn and call animal control. Further, has she the professional training to know how to diagnose a case of rabies just by looking?<\/p>\n<p>I seem to recall there&#8217;s state laws regarding harassment of wildlife; is she absolutely certain her taking a gun out to the barn and blasting away was legal \u2026 or wise? What would she have said to a neighbor who happened to notice a stray bullet crashing through a child&#8217;s window?
