{"id":42845,"date":"2013-02-27T09:30:26","date_gmt":"2013-02-27T14:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=42845"},"modified":"2013-02-27T07:57:24","modified_gmt":"2013-02-27T12:57:24","slug":"flood-gorajek-win-pl-weekly-accolades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=42845","title":{"rendered":"Flood, Gorajek Win PL Weekly Accolades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Matt Faulkner\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>(Center Valley, Pa. \u2013 Feb. 25, 2013) The Colgate women\u2019s lacrosse team continued to\u00a0bring home weekly honors this season as Alison Flood and Lauren\u00a0Gorajek were tabbed with accolades after a 1-1 week for the Raiders.<\/p>\n<p>Flood was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week and Gorajek<br \/>\nearned her first weekly honor for the Raiders as rookie of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Flood totaled eight goals, four ground balls, six draw controls and a<br \/>\ncaused turnover in a 1-1 week for the Raiders. She came through with a<br \/>\ncareer-high tying five goals, including the game-winner, as well as<br \/>\nfour draw controls in a 16-12 victory at Marist. Flood then had three<br \/>\ngoals, four ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in a<br \/>\n13-11 loss at Hofstra on Saturday. She is named Patriot League<br \/>\nMidfield Player of the Week for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Gorajek had four goals and an assist in two games for the Raiders last<br \/>\nweek. She had a goal with two ground balls, two draw controls and a<br \/>\ncaused turnover in a 16-12 win over Marist on Tuesday, and totaled<br \/>\nthree goals, an assist, two ground balls and two draw controls in<br \/>\nSaturday\u2019s 13-11 loss at Hofstra.
