{"id":43557,"date":"2013-03-15T12:49:09","date_gmt":"2013-03-15T16:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=43557"},"modified":"2013-03-15T07:59:27","modified_gmt":"2013-03-15T11:59:27","slug":"stanton-named-neac-womens-lacrosse-athlete-of-the-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=43557","title":{"rendered":"Stanton named NEAC Women\u2019s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Brandy Thurston, Director of Sports Information<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Morrisville, NY \u2013 March 12, 2013) \u00a0The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its weekly player of the week awards, naming Morrisville State College senior attack\u00a0Sybil Stanton (Walton, N.Y.)\u00a0the women\u2019s lacrosse student-athlete of the week for the week ending March 10.<\/p>\n<p>Stanton scored four goals on eight shots to go along with five draw controls in the Mustang\u2019s lone contest this week, a tightly contested 12-9 non-conference loss to Elmira on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>To date on the season, she has tallied seven points on seven goals and collected seven draw controls, second-most in the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The graduate of Walton High is majoring in entrepreneurship and small business management at Morrisville.
