(Madison County, NY – March 2013) The Madison County Dairy Promotion Committee will hold its 50th Dairy Princess Pageant May 5 at 1 p.m. at the Jim Marshall Foundation banquet hall located on New Boston Road, North Chittenango.<\/p>\n
The committee is seeking individuals between the ages of 8 to 23 who are interested in promoting the dairy industry. Individuals between the ages of 8 and 15 would be dairy ambassadors and young ladies between the ages of 16 to 23 are eligible for the title of Madison County Dairy Princess or Alternate Dairy Princess.<\/p>\n
Eligible entrants must have a connection to the dairy industry, which means that either they or a member of their close family must work full-time in a dairy-related job and have a desire to promote the dairy industry. They must have knowledge of the dairy industry and dairy products to effectively promote at the many events required of them.<\/p>\n
