(Chittenango, NY \u2013 April 2013) The Chittenango Bears lacrosse suffered a tough loss at home Thursday, April 18, against visiting Lafayette Lancers.<\/p>\n

Trailing just 7-5 at half, the Bears had a defensive lapse during the third period, allowing the Lancers to score five unanswered goals for a 12-5 lead.<\/p>\n

The gritty Bears rallied back for the game’s next five goals with two missed scoring opportunities in the closing seconds but lost 12-10.<\/p>\n

With a sound 17-6 defeat over Bishop Ludden earlier in the week Chittenango is now 4-3 overall and 2-1 in their Division.<\/p>\n
