{"id":45239,"date":"2013-04-24T15:30:07","date_gmt":"2013-04-24T19:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=45239"},"modified":"2013-04-24T09:47:16","modified_gmt":"2013-04-24T13:47:16","slug":"free-boys-lacrosse-program-held-thursdays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=45239","title":{"rendered":"Free Boys Lacrosse Program held Thursdays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>\u00a0<\/b>(Oneida, NY \u2013 April 2013) The Oneida Indian Nation Recreation Department invites boys from across the community to participate in its spring varsity lacrosse program.\u00a0 The program is for boys in grades 9-12 and is free to join.<\/p>\n<p>Each Thursday from April 25 through May 30, practice will be held at the Oneida Nation\u2019s lacrosse box, gymnasium or outdoor field from 6:30 to 8 p.m.\u00a0 The open time will help players to develop lacrosse skills such as scooping, cradling, passing, catching, shooting and footwork.\u00a0 Participants must sign a waiver and provide their own lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, cleats, mouthguard and athletic protector.<\/p>\n<p>The Oneida Nation Recreation Department field and gymnasium are located on Territory Road in Oneida, approximately 3 miles south from the intersection of Routes 5 and 46.<\/p>\n<p>Registration and waiver forms must be completed by a parent or guardian prior to their child\u2019s first practice.\u00a0 To register, call the Oneida Nation Recreation Department at\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">(315) 829-8484<\/span>.<a href=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Lacrosse_sticks3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-45240\" alt=\"Lacrosse_sticks3\" src=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Lacrosse_sticks3-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0(Oneida, NY \u2013 April 2013) The Oneida Indian Nation Recreation Department invites boys from across the community to participate in its spring varsity lacrosse program.\u00a0 The program is for boys in grades 9-12 and is free to join.
