A \u201cwellness fair\u201d reception will be held May 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. About a dozen practitioners will be participating in the exhibit, which will be open during all library hours.<\/p>\n<p>The fair and the exhibit are open to the public without charge.<\/p>\n<p>According to wellness consultant Rosemary Thompson, this event will introduce natural healing and wellness practices to area residents. Many modalities will be represented, including acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, Reiki, massage, nutrition and other disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWellness is not limited to our physical well-being,\u201d Thompson said. \u201cWellness is a sense of balance through all areas of your life. This includes, but is not limited to, physical, mental, emotional and energetic health, financial wellness and animal companion wellness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit at the library is a preview of the fourth annual Cazenovia Natural Healing and Wellness Fair, which will be held June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion, 26 Chenango St., Cazenovia.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the wellness providers and exhibiters, visit cazhealing.webs.com or call Thompson at 315.663.6725.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Norm Parry is library director for the New Woodstock Free Library. The library is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library also is open whenever the flags are flying out front.
