Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum news<\/p>\n

(Chittenango, NY \u2013 May 2013) Clean Sweep at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum had 27 volunteers preparing the museum for its new visitor season. The combined volunteer hours totaled 92 1\/2 hours for Sat. morning April 20. All of the buildings were cleaned, windows were washed and everything was dusted. Volunteers ranged in age from teens to seniors, some high school students fulfilled their volunteer requirements by participating. Thanks go to the volunteers and to Donna Lynch for coordinating the event.<\/p>\n

The museum is now open weekends from 11 am until 3 pm. Canal Fest is coming up on Sun. June 16 from noon until 5 pm with historic enactors, children’s games, exhibits, chicken BBQ and more.
