Campbell of the New York State Police and\u00a0Chief Deputy Dean Obernesser of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, announce the arrest of 20-year- old Brian M. Gurtowski,\u00a0of 219 West Smith St. in Herkimer for one count of first-degree Disseminating Indecent Material to a Child, a class &#8220;D&#8221; felony and one count of Possessing a Sexual Performance of a Child, a class &#8220;E&#8221; felony.<\/p>\n<p>It is alleged that Gurtowski used the internet site Facebook and cell phone text messaging to engage\u00a0in sexual\u00a0communication with a 14 year old female.\u00a0\u00a0 He was arraigned in the Town of Marcy and remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $7,500 cash\/bond.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation was conducted by State Police Investigator Todd Grant , who is currently assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.\u00a0The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team that fights child abuse by providing a wide range of services for child victims, while also aggressively pursuing the offenders of these crimes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Marcy, NY &#8211; May 22, 2013)\u00a0Major Rodney W.
