(Utica, NY- June 2013) The Utica Public Library is ready to launch its annual Summer Reading Program for adults.\u00a0\u00a0The 5 week program will begin on Monday, June 24\u00a0and end on Saturday, July 27.\u00a0\u00a0To register, participants simply fill out and submit a form with their name, phone number and the title of something they\u2019ve recently read.\u00a0\u00a0The form is your registration. More than one form may be submitted.\u00a0\u00a0Summer Reading Bingo Cards will also be available.<\/p>\n
There will be weekly prizes, as well as, a Grand Prize drawing held at the end of the program.\u00a0\u00a0Prizes include gift cards to area businesses and restaurants, DVD\u2019s, and a literary classic including this year\u2019s featured novel, the 1952 masterpiece,\u00a0Invisible Man\u00a0by Ralph Ellison.<\/p>\n
Brand new this year is the library\u2019s Between the Covers With Your \u201cBlind Date\u201d Fiction Program.\u00a0\u00a0Simply pick up your free \u201cblind date\u201d (a gift wrapped novel) and a Blind Date Score Card.\u00a0\u00a0All details and rules are available in the main lobby.<\/p>\n
