{"id":47269,"date":"2013-06-13T10:00:03","date_gmt":"2013-06-13T14:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=47269"},"modified":"2013-06-13T08:18:07","modified_gmt":"2013-06-13T12:18:07","slug":"construction-underway-at-exit-33-entertainment-complex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=47269","title":{"rendered":"Construction Underway at \u2018Exit 33\u2019 Entertainment Complex"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Greg Lancette (left), Central and Northern New York Building Trades Council President, and Ray Halbritter, Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO tour the Exit 33 entertainment complex construction site at Turning Stone Resort Casino.\u00a0 (Photo courtesy <a href=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Exit.33.construction.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-47270\" alt=\"Exit.33.construction\" src=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Exit.33.construction.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Exit.33.construction.jpg 300w, https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Exit.33.construction-150x99.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Oneida Indian Nation)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(Verona, NY \u2013 June 10, 2013) Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter was joined by Central and Northern New York Building Trades Council President Greg Lancette to tour the active construction site of the new \u201cExit 33\u201d entertainment complex at Turning Stone Resort Casino.\u00a0 Through the hard work of 280 local construction workers and building trades craftsmen, the next chapter in Turning Stone\u2019s future continues to be on schedule for a July opening.<\/p>\n<p>The $25 million expansion project is also on budget, and the Oneida Nation expects to create over 125 permanent jobs for the operation of \u201cExit 33.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Halbritter said, \u201cFor over seven months, the construction crews and building trades have been working hard to make \u201cExit 33\u201d a reality.\u00a0 When we open in July, we will be adding more than 125 permanent jobs to one of the largest workforces in Central New York.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lancette said, \u201cOnce again, the Oneida Nation has demonstrated a commitment to using local union labor on its construction projects, and the vast majority of new construction jobs created by this expansion have been performed by workers who live within 50 miles of the site.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExit 33\u201d will house distinct venues including:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tin Rooster\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0BBQ and dance hall featuring an authentic country atmosphere with a modern approach.\u00a0 Live bands and DJ\u2019s playing continuous country favorites and a large dance floor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Gig \u2013\u00a0A rock &amp;
