(Canastota, NY \u2013 June 2013) Alliance Bank (NBT Bank) committed a contribution to be used as a matching fund for the Erie Canalway Heritage Fund Grant awarded to Canastota Canal Town and the Village of Canastota.<\/p>\n

\"Alliance<\/a>The Bank recognizes all the hard work that goes into a project like this and appreciates the value it will provide to the Canastota community.\u00a0 The project will enable Canastota to make Canal Street a historic and distinctive place by placing two Canastota Canal scene murals on Peterboro and Main Street and a visitors\u2019 park across from the Canal Town Museum.<\/p>\n

Presenting a matching funds check to Canal Town Director Joe DiGiorgio and Canastota Mayor Carla DeShaw are John A Elberson, Oneida Market Executive and Cindy Lindauer Bank Manager.\u00a0 An Aug. 11 dedication is planned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
