{"id":49088,"date":"2013-08-12T19:36:15","date_gmt":"2013-08-12T23:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=49088"},"modified":"2013-08-12T19:36:15","modified_gmt":"2013-08-12T23:36:15","slug":"motorcyclist-in-yesterdays-fatality-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=49088","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist in Yesterday&#8217;s Fatality Identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Brookfield, NY \u2013 Aug. 12, 2013) The victim of yesterday\u2019s fatal accident has been identified as Cyle Chesebro, 49, of West Edmeston.<\/p>\n<p>Chesebro was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Original Report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Brookfield, NY &#8211; Aug. 11) Madison County Sheriff\u2019s deputies were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle\u00a0accident that occurred at approximately 5:35 a.m. Aug. 11 on State Route 8 in the\u00a0Madison County Town of Brookfield, approximately 3 miles south of Leonardsville.<\/p>\n<p>A vehicle operated by Phurba Tamang, 31, of Utica was traveling south on Route 8 when a deer entered the roadway from an adjacent cornfield. The deer was struck by Tamang\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Mad-Co-Sheriffs-Dept.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-41578\" alt=\"Mad Co Sheriff's Dept\" src=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Mad-Co-Sheriffs-Dept.jpg\" width=\"221\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Mad-Co-Sheriffs-Dept.jpg 221w, https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Mad-Co-Sheriffs-Dept-124x150.jpg 124w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 221px) 100vw, 221px\" \/><\/a>vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators on the scene determined that the deer was sent airborne as a result, impacting a motorcycle heading north.<\/p>\n<p>The male driver of the motorcycle was ejected as a result of the impact with the deer, and was pronounced dead on the scene by Brookfield Rescue as a result of his injuries.
