(Chittenango, NY \u2013 Aug. 2013) Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association will be hold its annual Canine Classic dog walk and festival Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jim Marshall Farm Foundation (1978 New Boston Road in Chittenango).<\/p>\n
This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, as we have teamed up with Hardeko Helping Paws Pantry to bring renowned dog trainer Victoria Stilwell, of Animal Planet’s “It’s Me or the Dog,” to speak at the event.<\/p>\n
In addition to Victoria Stilwell’s lectures, we will have our dog walk, including our alumni dog parade, a fun dog show, dozens of rescues and shelters with adoptable pets, many unique vendors, a K9 unit demonstration, horse and buggy rides, food, bake sale and numerous raffles.<\/p>\n
General admission is $5, to hear Victoria speak is $10, and to participate in the walk (and get a Canine Classic t-shirt) is a minimum of $25 in pledges.<\/p>\n
The Canine Classic is Wanderers\u2019 Rest\u2019s biggest fundraiser of the year.<\/p>\n
